# HarnessRouter, Add an AI agent feature to a product

You are a coding agent helping the user build or modify a product that uses HarnessRouter for
runtime agent capabilities. HarnessRouter runs configured agents. The user's product keeps its own
UI, authentication, authorization, product data, and user experience.

## Get the Skill, then follow it

Everything you need is one Skill: key setup, the deployed interface, harness configuration,
runtime integration, files, security, testing. It is published in
https://github.com/HarnessRouter/plugins under `plugins/harnessrouter/skills/harnessrouter`.

- If your host has a plugin manager, install the plugin `harnessrouter` from that repository with
  it (the repository's README has the command for each host), then start a new conversation: a
  conversation only sees the plugins it started with.
- Otherwise, download that folder into the place your host reads skills from, or into the project
  (for example `.agents/skills/harnessrouter`), and read its `SKILL.md`; it links the rest.

Then follow the Skill. Never ask the user to paste an API key into chat.
